Question:
How do I find out which pin box I have ? It’s not on the pin box itself I have a 2005 Cedar Creek 34 ft RLTS I want to order a goose box but not sure how to know it will fit .. I was going to order the 16 K since my trailer is under that weight but considering upgrading to the 20 K just in case I decide to upgrade RV ..

A Reese Goose Box is easily the best way to tow a 5th wheel trailer with a gooseneck hitch, and we can help you out with how to identify the correct one. There are a couple of ways to do this, the first being to find the model number on a sticker or a plate somewhere on the pin box itself.
However, if that sticker or plate is not there, the other way to find out what pin box you have is by taking a few measurements. I have added a link below to a help article called "4 Steps to Choosing Your 5th Wheel Pin Box" and if you scroll down a bit in the article, it walks you through the measurements that are needed.
From there you can choose the right one based on what pin box you have:
- Lippert 1621, 1621HD & 0719, & Fabex PB-600 Series Pin Box: Reese Goose Box - 20,000 lb capacity # RP85FR
- Lippert 1716, 1116, & 0115 Pin Box: Reese Goose Box - 20,000 lb capacity # RP94716-61301
I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
