Troubleshooting Camper Trailer that Sways Towed by Jeep Wrangler

Question:
I have a lifted 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with 2.5inch suspension lift and 35tires. The top of the hitch currently sits 22.5inch off the ground and has a 2inch receiver with trailer brake control set up. I am towing a 2021 Prolite Evasion travel trailer with a GTW of 3500lbs and max TW of 350lbs. Dry weight is around 2000lbs. The tongue of this trailer sits at 12inch off the ground when level. I estimate that I need an 11.5inch , but Im worried about ground clearance with the weight distribution bars. I towed it home with an 8 inch hitch that did not allow the trailer to sit level. I also had a noticeable bouncing or wave effect from front to back when going over bumps that became a bit nauseating over the course of the trip. The Jeep does not sag in the rear when towing. Would I benefit from the use of a weight distribution hitch and sway control? Would that help with the wave effect? What products would you recommend to tow this in the best set up to allow adequate ground clearance with the needed to keep it level?

You'd have a pretty low amount of ground clearance based on the drop you need and your trailer's coupler height but to prevent the type of sway you are experiencing you'd actually need to address something else. The type of trailer sway you described is caused by not having enough tongue weight typically or the trailer tongue sitting too high.
So if you can move weight forward in your trailer and allow it to sit level you'd have taken care of the problem.
It will help to have a ball mount with the correct amount of drop with the part # 80248 which has 11 inches of drop.
