Can the Curt Trunnion Style Weight Distribution System Be Used With Both 2" and 2-5/16" Hitch Balls

My current travel trailer accepts a 2inch ball however in another year or two we will be upgrading out travel trailer and it will need a 2 5/16inch ball. Can this WDH be used with a 2inch ball now and then a 2 5/16inch ball in the future?
