The Thule OutWay Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # TH45JV does fit most SUV's with factory spoilers like your 2020 BMW X5, however, it has not been confirmed to fit your vehicle at this point in time so I recommend going with a different trunk bike rack.

I highly recommend looking into the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack # Y02634 or 3-bike version # Y02633; the FullBack will fit your 2020 BMW X5 as long as it is not the M model. This is a very nice high-end bike rack that includes locks to keep your bikes secured to the carrier, along with a security strap to keep the carrier secured to your locked trunk. Rubber and foam pads are on the contact points so that your vehicle does not get scratched or damaged in any way. This is very easy to use as you can see in the attached demonstration video.
