Replacement For MaxxFan 4500K That no Longer Starts

Question:

Manually open vent push fan button and it automatically closes the lid as if it’s raining outside. Push the fan button and it will only give a quick motor spurt and shut down the fan does not come on at any time.

Since your MaxxFan 4500k has buttons that are no longer working properly, and also has an issue with the motor, you will need a replacement:

- MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, Thermostat, and Remote # MA00-04500K

It is possible that the Replacement Printed Circuit Board # MA10A21275K with Replacement 12-Volt Variable Speed Fan Motor # MA10-20968 can remedy the issue, but there's no guarantee of that and the cost of these parts is going to be nearing a replacement, so the best thing I can recommend is a new fan.
