Question:

My RV has 8 wires for this tail light assembly - 2 red, 3 black and 3 white. How do I connect to your 6 wire unit?

While we wouldn't have any way of knowing what the 8 wires are for with your current light, I can tell you the functions of each wire for the Triple LED Trailer Tail Light # CE44VR.

Then what you would need to do is match those wires with the correct ones on your RV, and you can find out what wires are for what function on your RV by using a circuit tester like the Cordless Circuit Tester # PTW2979.

After that it would just be a matter of matching the wires by function (and not color), and with this light the red wires are stop and turn signals, the black is the running light/tail light, the purple is the reverse light and the white is for ground; I have added a link below to a video review of the Triple LED Trailer Tail Light # CE44VR, and at about the 2:10 mark you can see an example of it being wired up.
