Will the Thule EasyFold XT Allow for the License Plate to be Visible

Question:

I understand for a car the license plate would be visible however , what is your suggestion for a Van camper the plate is on the bumper? Thanks

It sounds like you're worried about your camper van's license plate being visible while having the Thule EasyFold Xt, part # TH903202, equipped.

If that is your concern, then Thule has you covered. The EasyFold has an integrated holder for your license plate so it's always visible. I've linked to a video review of this below. At the 2:48 mark, you will see an example of this.

If your concern was having to use that holder in the first place (i.e. you think you won't need it), I'd suggest loading the bike rack and your bike and seeing if the plate is visible. If it is, then you won't need it. If it isn't, then use the holder to stay legal.
