Question:
I can’t figure out my wiring. From my trailer I have Red, green, yellow and black From my truck I have green, yellow, brown and white I matched the green with green and yellow with yellow and black to brown and everything works but, the running lights are brighter than the brake lights. And the turn signals aren’t very bright.

Expert Reply:
Sounds like on your taillight assemblies you have the stoplight and running light circuits backwards which is causing the circuits seem backwards in terms of brightness. So what I recommend is you reverse the wiring at the taillight assemblies and you'll get the lights working like they need to be.
