Recommended Coupler For Aluminum NEO 24 NACX A-Frame Trailer

Question:

I have a full aluminium NEO 24 NACX do I have to weld this or can I bolt it on like the original set up I dont see any holes on the coupler other than 3 on top for the Jack

The Sleeve-Lock A-Frame Trailer Coupler - Flip Latch - Black - 2-5/16" Ball - 12,500 lbs # CA-5296-B you were looking at is designed to be welded on and as you noticed, does not have the bolt holes available.

Instead I recommend going with the Bulldog Heavy-Duty Cast Head Coupler w/ Wedge Latch - 2-5/16" Ball - A-Frame - 15,000 lbs # BD44150WH301 which will fit your NEO 24' NACX trailer perfectly and will not require you to weld the coupler on, making it a much easier install. Since your trailer is aluminum, you would not be able to weld a steel coupler to it.
