HappiJac Camper Tie Downs Installation On 2015 F-350 With 8’ Bed

I have a 2015 F-350 dually with a 8’ bed and I’m waiting for my tie-downs to be delivered. I noticed today that there isn’t much room between my bed and cab. Can you please explain how the front tie-downs bolt down since I can’t get my hand between the bed and cab?? Just trying to figure this out before I get my package delivered, because I’m picking up a new truck camper in 5 days. Thanks!

The stabilizer bar and brackets will be bolted inside the bed and the front anchoring plate will be bolted on between the bed and the cab. If you don't have enough space to get your hand and the plate between them then you'll have to unbolt the bed. You could most likely get enough space if you loosen the bolts and lift the bed a bit with some 2x4's.
