In order to use a Blue Ox Rangefinder II towbar with your 2013 Hyundai Ascent you would need to use the Roadmaster EZ2 Base Plates # 521634-1 and the Blue Ox Rangefinder II or III Tow Bar to Roadmaster Base Plates Adapters # RM-037. There is not a Blue Ox base plate kit for your Ascent that is compatible with a Rangefinder II towbar.

There are some other parts you'll need to flat tow your 2013 Ascent, and a complete flat towing system consists of base plates, tow bar, tow bar wiring, safety cables, supplemental braking and potentially a high/low adapter. For the safety cables I recommend using the # RM-643

For lighting you can use the bulb and socket kit, # RM-155, and not have to worry about cutting and splicing into the vehicle wiring. These will install directly into your tail light housing and provide you with lights that work in conjunction with the RV's tail lights and blinkers.

Supplemental braking systems are required in most states and provinces where the vehicle is being flat towed. The easiest system to set up and use is the Even Brake proportional system, # RM-9400, that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the two vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles and can be removed from the vehicle and stored when not in use.
