Question:
Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3,500-lb Axles - 10inch Diameter - 6 on 5-1/2 Item # 84656UC3 I have an early 2000s A frame Chalet with what I believe is a 3,500 pound Dexter axle. Some of the markings are worn off but it mentions p-29 and model SLR. I would like to mount Toyota Tacoma wheels on my trailer and believe 6X5.5 is the right bolt pattern. Is this the right application?

I would be happy to help.
The Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3,500-lb Axles - 10" Diameter - 6 on 5-1/2 # 84656UC3 you were looking at uses inner bearing # L68149 and outer bearing # L44649 which is what your Dexter axle uses if it is a 3500lb axle.
Unfortunately the numbers mentioned do not identify the axle, as I would need the serial number on the axle tag. If you can provide the serial number I would be happy to identify it.
Another way is to pull one of your existing hubs and look for the bearing numbers stamped in the face of each bearing. As long as your bearing combination is the # L68149 and # L44649 this hub will work perfectly, and has the 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern you mentioned for your Toyota Tacoma wheels.
If you find you have a different bearing combination just let me know and I would be happy to recommend the correct parts for you.
I included a video of the # 84656UC3 for you to take a look at.
