Question:
2017 F250 diesel towing a 2019 Venture Sporttrek 38foot TT My current setup is a Blue Ox with 1000lb spring bars. The pin hole in my receiver is starting to become oblong I think due to the play in the class 3 to class 4 adapter. GTW is supposed to be 10500 but with the way it gets packed probably a bit more than that. Suggestions please.

First you will want to confirm what your tongue weight is that you will be towing with. You can do this with a tongue weight scale like the etrailer scale # e99044. This will ensure that you have a weight and sway distribution hitch that is correct for your 2019 Venture SportTrek travel trailer. This device will plug into the OBD II port on your 2017 Ford F-250 and will tell you the tongue weight of your camper as well as help you setup the new weight and sway hitch.
For tongue weights between 800 lbs - 1,200 lbs I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution # EQ37121ET. This kit does not include a shank so you will need 2-1/2" Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank # EQ90-02-4700. This weight distribution hitch will incorporate the sway control as well to give you a stable and safe ride.
For tongue weights between 1,200 lbs -1,600 lbs I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution # EQ64FR. This hitch will include the 2-1/2" shank that you are wanting.
If you wish to keep you Blue Ox hitch the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution Shank # BXW4028 will replace your current drop shank. I would still recommend checking your tongue weight as you may need heavier bars for your current hitch. If your hitch weight is between 1,000 lbs - 1,500 lbs you can use the Replacement Spring Bars # BXW4008
To help prevent the hitch pin hole from distorting any more I recommend using the Curt Anti-Rattle Hitch Clamp # C87UR. This will ensure that hitch is not rattling around inside your receiver.
