Lippert Solera Awning Rollbar Compatibility with Dometic Awning

Question:

Hi I have a dometic 8500 rv awning and my roller tube broke is this solera tube compatible with the dometic tube ? Im using my old springs and encaps so all I need is the 18foot tube

Lippert's roller tubes are not a universal fit so they have not been confirmed to fit on a Dometic awning. I recommend upgrading to a Lippert awning like the Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning - 18' Wide - Programmable - White Fade # LC405510. Lippert offers a wider range of replacement parts for their products than Dometic does in the event of an awning being damaged.

@PaulH RV awnings are made just slightly different enough between manufacturers so that you can't use other manufacturer's parts. The only thing that's typically universal between manufacturers is just the fabric itself. We don't carry the Shade Pro or Dometic brand for awnings so I can't fully speak to their compatibility, but if it's just fabric you should be fine.
