Question:

I want to replace my leaky air bags - Im looking for your expertise to help me chose between Timbren or Sumo springs to help with my 30ft travel trailer towing 5700 empty hitch wt.. I am using an Equalizer hitch but still needs rear end support for bounce and sway. They are basically the same price so Im looking for your input to help my with my decision. Im currently leaning toward Timbren but still very open. Thank you

Both the Timbren # TFR1504E and the SumoSpring # SSR-116-47 would provide the extra support and help with sway like you're looking for, but the Timbren springs would provide a rougher ride with the truck rear suspension under load. I'd recommend going with the SumoSprings # SSR-116-47. Although they have a lower capacity than the Timbrens (1500lb vs. 6000 lbs) the SumoSprings product would provide plenty of support for tongue weight of the trailer you describe, plus you'll be much happier with the ride quality they provide.

The SumoSprings product won't leak, is completely maintenance-free and is resistant to damage from oil, grease, chemicals and UV rays.
