I will be traveling speeds of 65-85mph on an upcoming trip. Will the JayLow kayak carrier with the provided tie downs be able to handle this?

Expert Reply:
Yes! Make sure to have the bow and stern tie-downs included with the Yakima JayLow # Y04073 properly secured to the front and rear of your vehicle and you're good to go! If you're carrying a second kayak, you will need another set of bow/stern ropes # Y04031 and cam buckle straps # Y05006.
One thing to note is that Yakima recommends a maximum speed limit of 80mph with your kayaks loaded up.
