Is Command Electronics Triple LED Trailer Tail Light CE44VR an Updated Version

Question:
Is this an improved version of this tail light? Mine have leaked water from the factory since day one. The center clear cap has factory screws and a foam seal that dont seal properly. Have they fixed it on this version?

That's a good question, and the answer is yes, the improved version is in fact the Triple LED Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Tail, Turn, Backup - Red and Clear Lens # CE44VR.
This is the updated replacement of the 003-30LEM2, but with a much better seal. The OEM one you referenced was known for its issues with not being sealed, so an improvement was made with this light. It still isn't a "submersible" light but it won't have the same issues as its predecessor due to it's superior seal.
