Question:
It was said the Tank can be installed Vertically or Horizontallyinch To clarify, I would like to install it so the tank footprint is 36x18 and the height would be 8. I believe that would require moving the drain port. Is that what you meant by Vertically or did you mean that it could Standinch on edge with a 16inch x 8inch footprint 36inch tall?

There are three 3/8" possible drain port locations on each of the small ends. The one centered on the long side, or the corner one, would be the best drain locations if you install it with the biggest foot print orientation, like the 36" X 18" configuration you mentioned. I attached a little drawing for clarity.
