Question:
I see that you can put a class III on the 2021 SIenna And I saw that you had some concerns about the Swagman 4 bike rack being able to fit I have not purchased any 4 bike rack yet, but am not partial to any particular company. Do you know the distances needed for the other companies such as Thule, Kuat, North shore bike racks and whether you anticipate any issues? Toyota mayinch not warranty the drivetrain if an aftermarket hitch is installed. Do you have any concerns not holding you legally responsible if all I do is put a 50lb rack and 4 x 30-32 lb bikes on it? That would be well under the tongue weight of course.

You can put a Class III hitch on the 2021 Toyota Sienna with the Curt # C22UR, and the main concern with the Swagman XTC 4 # S64665 is that it's going to be a tight fit if you want to fold the rack up towards the vehicle when it's not in use. The distance from the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack when folded up is 3-1/2", and we haven't yet had an opportunity to install this hitch ourselves to determine what the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole on the # C22UR to the edge of the bumper on a 2021 Toyota Sienna actually will be once installed.
With all of that said, the distance from the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack is going to vary from bike rack to bike rack and there's not going to be a standard on this, but a better choice that we know will fit on your 2021 Sienna is the Saris Freedom 4 Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting # SA4414B. The Freedom is also a 4 bike platform rack that holds the bikes by the frames, so it's very similar, but it does have a longer shank and when folded up the distance from the closest part of the rack to the hitch pin hole is 10".
I've linked a review video of this rack for you to have a look at, as well as our entire selection of platform racks that will hold 4 bikes; typically the distance from the hitch pin hole to various points on the bike rack are listed in the product information section if you're looking for something a bit different.
