Question:
What range of brake line pressure hydraulic psi should I expect when brakes are activated? Looking for maximum along with normal operating pressure. Looking at Electric over Hydraulic system/ drum brakes, towing with 2010 Ford F-350. Thanks in advance.

The maximum for disc brakes and the Carlisle actuator # HBA16 is 1600 psi. If you are looking for a drum brake actuator then use # T4813102 and add the reducer # T4844100. Drum brakes require less pressure, 1000 psi maximum. The Titan actuator reaches full psi pressure in 1.3 seconds. It ramps it up from the minimum amount of pressure that brakes require up to that maximum. The pressure in the lines is going to be different and it depends on several factors like the brake line size and length and the amount of brake assemblies.
If your truck has an integrated brake controller you will also need adapter # T4845900 so the factory controller will work with the actuator. I have included a link to an FAQ article that covers what you will need to add electric over hydraulic trailer brakes to a trailer.
