On the equa flex cushioned equalizers, is the weight listed, per axle, or total trailer rated weight?

That's a really good question, and the weight ratings for the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers are per axle as opposed to the weight of the trailer; so you will want to choose the kit that meets whatever your axles are rated for:
- 3,000 lbs to 6,000 lbs: Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279687
- 6,000 lbs to 8,000 lbs: Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279688
Then in order to install them, I recommend the Lippert Tandem Axle Equa-Flex AP Kit - Wet Bolts # LC64FR
