Is There a Difference Between Anti Rattle Device of Kuat Transfer V2 2 inch Hitch Models

I am interested in a Kuat transfer v2 2-bike. I have a golf GTI with a 1-1/4 hitch rack. Rack for 2 comes with flatlock cam. Rack for 1-1/4 comes with ball cam. What is the difference? Is the ball cam anti-wobble?

Both the Kuat Transfer V2 for 2 inch hitches # KU84FR and the version that fits both the 2 inch and 1-1/4 inch part # KU74FR use a similar type of wedge anti-rattle device that pushes out against the hitch tube to reduce movement and create stability. The difference between the two styles is just due to the size of the shank and the available room for the mechanism to work. Either style works just as well.
