Trying to determine the correct Weight Distribution Hitch to purchase. Im deciding between the Blue Ox models: BLU27FR BLU87FR Here are the specs on my Travel Trailer: UVW: 5555 GVWR: 7000 Dry Hitch Weight: 720

The easiest way to get an accurate tongue weight measurement is by using a tongue weight scale like the # e99044, but there are other ways outlined in the included help article.

Since your trailers GVWR is 7000lbs and typical tongue weight is 10-15% of the trailer weight you should see between 700-1050lbs tongue weight with the trailer loaded to maximum capacity.
