Question:

I have a 2017 Ford Focus Hatchback. From what I can tell, the only hitch installation option is a class 1 hitch with a 1.25 inch receiver. If thats the case, is there an option for a bike rack that holds at least 4 bikes? Others have guided me toward Yakima but it seems there 4 or 5 bike racks are listed as class 2 or 3. Any guidance you can provide would be appreciated.

If you have a 2017 Ford Focus Hatchback RS you do have a 2" hitch option # 306-X7355. Then you can use a platform style rack like the Kuat NV 2.0 # BA22B-BA02B. If that's not the case for you vehicle, then you don't have a 1-1/4 inch hitch option # C11431 as the class I hitches are only rated for two bikes.
