Question:

Ram 2500 stock hitch. Added rack on back, serves as a step/porch exiting from truck camper. Wobbles a bit. This item should help, Question- 2 1/2 receiver - reduced id to2inch to accept standard accessories. Will this part fit over receiver 2 1/2 female where 2hitch goes in? Thank You

It sounds like you have a 2-1/2" receiver on your 2016 Ram 2500 and have installed a reducer to fit your 2" accessory, and there is some sway. I have a solution for you.

First, though, the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer for 2" Hitches, part # e99007, is not designed to be used with this kind of setup. The lip would not make decent contact to reduce sway as intended.

Instead, I recommend the Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer III for 2-1/2" Hitch with 2" Adapter, part # BX88312. This stabilizer is specifically designed to fit a 2-1/2" receiver reduced down to a 2" accessory. I've linked to a video review of this below.
