Question:

Hi There. I have a 2018 BMW X5 G05 M-Sport. I need a tow hitch for it but Im not keen on the stealth hitch as I use many different sized tow balls and dont want to be switching them out all the time. Is there a fixed receiver hitch that will work with the X5 and M-Sport? Thanks -

For your 2018 BMW X5 M-Sport we have the Curt Class III part # 13077 as a confirmed fit. This is a standard 2 inch trailer hitch is mostly hidden but does not have a removable portion like the Stealth # SH56VR.

For trailer wiring you'd want the part # C56190KIT for the easiest install and most reliable converter.

If you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
