Question:
I am looking for a shock absorbing hitch to use with my equilizer weight distribution hitch on my 2020 Ford F350 Crew cab Tremor edition. My travel trail is 7,000 lbs empty and max loaded of 9,000 lbs. What hitch would you recomend?

We do have an option for you, though there isn't a standalone cushioned ball mount like the Curt Rebellion XD Shock Absorbing Adjustable Ball Mount # C45949-22516 that is compatible or rated for use with a weight distribution system.
What you can use instead is a cushioned shank that is compatible with your Equal-i-zer weight distribution system; the Gen-Y Torsion Weight Distribution Shank will mount directly in your trailer hitch and you'll simply replace your Equal-i-zer's shank with this shank. So while not technically a ball mount, the Gen-Y shank does act as one, and cushions your ride for a much more comfortable towing experience.
Each of the Gen-Y shanks has a maximum rise and drop of 6-1/2 inches, and the correct one will depend on if your F-350 has a 2 inch or 2-1/2 inch receiver, as well as the total tongue weight of your loaded 9,000 lb travel trailer.
- 2" Hitch With Total Tongue Weight Between 400 lbs and 1,100 lbs: Gen-Y Torsion Weight Distribution Shank # GY54FR
- 2" Hitch With Total Tongue Weight Between 1,200 lbs and 1,700 lbs: Gen-Y Torsion Weight Distribution Shank # 325-GH-1202
Both of these shanks come with a pin and clip, though you can lock it to your truck's hitch with the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98880.
If you have a 2-1/2" hitch you will need a different shank, though I confirmed with the manufacturer you can also use the lower-rated # GY54FR with a reducer sleeve, the Gen-Y Hitch Reducer Sleeve - 2-1/2" to 2" # 325-GH-007.
- 2-1/2" Hitch With Total Tongue Weight Between 1,200 lbs and 1,700 lbs: Gen-Y Torsion Weight Distribution Shank # 325-GH-1102
This shank does not come with a pin and clip so you will need either Gen-Y Hitch Pin and Clip # 325-GH-099 or you can lock it with the Master Lock Trailer Hitch Lock # 1469DAT.
