Will Progressive Dynamics 4135K Converter Replace American CS3000XL

Question:

I need a converter for my 2005 R Vision Bantam Flyer, it currently has an American Enterprises Inc. CS3000XL Mfg. by Youngyear Electronics. It measures 7 x 11.5 Is there a direct replacement available for it? Will this one work? PD4135K

While there are no direct replacements available for the discontinued American CS3000XL, you can absolutely replace it with the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger # PD4135K.

This is a 35 amp converter and its face measures 11-1/4" long x 8" tall but it requires a wall cutout of 10-1/4" long x 7" tall. So it is a similar measurement to yours but you may have to make a bit of room in the cut out for it to fit, depending on if your measurement was just of the faceplate.

But overall, the Progressive Dynamics converter is a fantastic option that is highly reliable and a great choice to replace your CS3000XL.
