Question:

I have a 2013 Rockwood A122 camper. Im trying to replace the standard battery with a lithium battery. Its my understanding I need to replace the WFCO converter to one that is compatible with a lithium battery. Do you know what model would work? Thanks

Hey Justin! Which WFCO model do you have in your 2013 Rockwood A122? More than likely it is a WFCO 8700 series, probably the WF-8735 if I had to guess. Assuming that is correct, the WFCO Auto Detect RV Converter and AC/DC Distribution Panel # WF96FR (WF-8735-AD) is the correct replacement.

This fits in the exact same space as the standard 8735 so you won't have to modify the cutout. The Auto Detect will identify the lithium battery for the appropriate charging profile.

If the circuits on your current power center are already labeled you can just swap out the face/door/trim from your old one to make things easier. If you're doing this yourself I would keep a few fuses on hand just in case you blow one (good idea to have some anyway). If you have WAGO connectors behind there be careful when pushing the wiring back in or wires may pop out.

Any big trips coming up with the Rockwood?
