Question:
Hello! Before purchasing the Roadmaster Spare Tire hitch carrier, I want to make sure it will fit my 2017 Subaru Outback. When the carrier is in the down position, will I still be able to open my rear liftgate? Thanks for your assistance!

Expert Reply:
The Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier part # RM-195125 should still allow for the rear hatch to open while installed and swung down on most vehicles. That said, this is not something we are able to test and there are too many unknown variables to predict this beforehand. Therefore, testing this out for yourself will be the only true way to determine full compatibility.
