I have a 2004 Silverado. I bought a used grill guard which I believe is a Westin sportsman. Which mounting brackets will I need for this truck and grill guard ?

Expert Reply:
The Westin Sportsman for a 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 LD is available with part # 40-1175 or 45-1170; the mounting brackets for those grill guards are # 40-117PK and only those specific models. There are not Westin Sportsman grill guards available for the HD version of the 2004 Silverado 1500.
These brackets will only work with Westin Sportsman grill guards.
