Can Electric Jack w/ Footplate be Installed Backwards

Question:
etrailer Camper Jacks - EJ-3520-BBX If the motor interferes with my truck tail gate can I turn it around backwards? I know the light will be in the wrong pace but I can live with that.

Yes if you wanted you could spin the # EJ-3520-BBX around backwards and it would function totally fine.
