Do I Use the Airbag Spacer with a Leveled 4WD F-150?
Updated 10/28/2020 | Published 10/27/2020 >
Question:
Do I install the airbag spacer on my leveled 4WD F-150? Instructions say they are for 2WD ONLY, but youtube videos including Firestones installation video say to use them if your truck is lifted or leveled. Whats your expert opinion? I have a 2015 F-150 Sport 4WD, with stock shocks, a Decked drawer system, and a heavy Yakima HD rack system, with which I tow a 6500# dry weight 34foot TT.

Yes I recommend following the the Firestone installation video. Generally there is not a need for it on a standard 4x4 truck but in your case I think taking their advise from the video is your best bet when installing the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2582.
I'm unsure of what year you have but I linked an installation video from a 2018 to check out.
