Does etrailer Hitch Block Hands Free Lift Gate Sensor for 2020 Chrysler Pacifica

Question:

I want and need a trailer hitch for my new 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. This draw Tire seems to be all I would need for my uses. My question is does it block the toe sensor for the tailgate. I can not believe come of the quotes for getting a hitch plus install. Anywhere from $500 to $1000.

Installation of the etrailer Hitch part # e98903 on your 2020 Chrysler Pacifica still allows for the hands free liftgate sensor to work but may limit the range of the sensor which may result in you having to put your foot near or around the hitch.

To get you all set up I recommend a 2-inch ball mount. I have attached a link to determine what size ball you will need, how to decide what drop/rise amount you will need, and the page with all of our 2-inch ball mounts once you have your measurements.

I also recommend Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56322 if your Pacifica is a Limited, Touring L, or Touring L Plus. Use part # C56399 if your Pacifica is a Touring or LX. I have included the informational videos for both harnesses below for you to review.
