It provides a four way flat trailer connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights.It is compatible with five pull, six pull, and seven pull adapters. Adapters are sold separately, and it comes with a dust cap for the four way flat connector, that way you can cover up the connection points whenever your plug's not being used.Now, all the wiring, as you can see, runs through this black box. This is the included powered tail light converter. It connects directly to your vehicle battery through the wiring to avoid overloading your vehicle's electrical system. It's constructed using surface inaudible 00:00:47 technology, for consistent, reliable performance.And what that does is it maximizes trailer light yield and intensity, while producing minimal heat, and ensures superior operation, even in rougher conditions.Now, this unit is designed to connect quickly and easily.

All you need to do is locate the connection points behind your tail lights, plug in your connectors. One goes in the driver's side, the other ones goes to the passengers side. These are custom fit for your vehicle, so they match up perfectly with the ports on your vehicle, and they snap lock together for a nice, tight, secure fit.Once you have those connected, you'll want to make a ground connection. That's your white wire with a ring terminal attached to it. You want to get that grounded to a suitable grounding location, and you can use the included screw to accomplish that.And then you'll need to mount the converter box to a safe, out of the way location, and you can use that using the double-sided adhesive tape provided in the kit as well as the zip ties provided in the kit.Then you'll need to run the hot lead to the vehicle battery.

The hot lead is the short black wire coming out of the box. This gets connected to one end of the bundle, with one end to the butt connectors. The other end of the bundle runs to the vehicle battery, gets another butt connector attached to it, and connects to one half of the fuse holder.So you cut this in half, strip back the wiring, and that's how you connect it to the bundle. The other half of the fuse holder gets a ring terminal attached to it, and gets connected to the positive posts of the vehicle battery. It does come with the 15 amp fuse, goes directly in there, and it's got the cap that goes over to keep it safe and protected.Once you have that done, you can secure any excess or slack in your wiring with the included cable ties, and then once your inaudible 00:02:18 complete, the four way connector will be stored in an out of the way location within your rear cargo area.Plenty of wiring here, so you can extend it out the back when you need to use it, roll it up and tuck it away when you don't.
