Trailer Clearance For Tight Turns of Heavy Off-road Machine
Question:
When I use my front end loader to move trailers, if i turn too sharp the ball mount which needs 2inch to 4inch to work will bend the trailer hitch. Is there an extension that fits over the end of ball mount, where the ball would go, to extend the mount and not hit when I turn sharp

There is not an extension that goes over a current ball mount where the ball is to extend the mount for sharp turning. There will always be an issue with sharp turns causing trailers to jackknife. The options you have to give you more clearance are an extension on the receiver side like # C45791 or a longer ball mount like the Brophy Ball Mount for 2" Hitch - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 13-1/4" Long - 10,000 lbs # BM20. Either option puts the trailer pivot point farther away from your front end loader to give you a little more clearance.
If you have a light trailer, you may want to consider the Reese Towpower 3-Way ATV Hitch w/ Ball Mount Adapter - 2,000 lbs # RP7065100 which has a bolt that you could allow to pivot which could work for you or against you.
