Adapter To Allow Furrion Observation Camera to Function With 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation

Question:
I have a Model FOS48TAPK-BL rear view RV camera that quit working when I switched from a 2012 Honda Ridgeline to a 2019 Sierra 1500. I saw the same question answered with the model FOS43TASF. Will the same fix with the trailer lamp out sensor adapter work with my model. I ran a test after doing more research. Not enough power to the camera. worked fine when connected to battery instead of truck. Im told your adapter that blocks the lamp out sensor could fix this but I would l like to know why before I spend any money on an item I most likely cant' return. Does this adaptor trick the truck into sending more power?

What you need is just the Furrion 7-Way adapter part # FR87PR. This will give the running light circuit of your 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 enough power for the Furrion cameras you have on your RV.
For a more permanent solution you can also splice in the PWM Filter # VGR64VR behind the camera to provide a steady current for proper operation.
