Does Solera Awning Roller and Fabric Have Spring System Integrated For Rolling Up

Question:
I have a 09 Dutchmen Rainer camper. I just purchased the awning and trying to install. My current awning is a sunchaser manual awning. I am concerned that the awning I have purchased is for an electric awning because this awning has no way to retract. Is this correct? When I looked at the awning it say either way it was for electric or manual. Help please

The awning roller and fabric part # LCV000211486 that you referenced has a spring installed in the roller tube so that it will retract itself as you pull the awning in. Extending or retracting the arms via either a powered motor or manual method does not crank the roller. It just moves the arms of the awning and the roller unwinds itself and then winds itself back up as the arms move due to the spring in the roller.
