Can Husky HB4500 Tongue Jack Be Turned for Tailgate Clearance?

Question:

Can the motor be turned to the side? I can’t lower my tailgate to my truck as it hits the motor when at a 45 degree angle. If the motor can be moved to the side, my tailgate would clear it and lower all the way down.
