Question:
Hi, Im planning on using this hitch, but replacing the ball with a Max-Coupler to connect to the trailer. The Max-Coupler requires a one-inch hole, does this item have that?

I may have a solution for you, but unfortunately the Curt # C45147 has a 3/4" hole for the hitch ball shank and I'm unable to locate any of the ball mounts we have available for a 1-1/4" hitch receiver that will allow for a larger than 3/4" shank diameter.
With that said if you're towing with a 2021 Subaru Outback, those would typically have a 2" hitch receiver and have ball mounts available with holes for hitch balls with 1" shank diameters; you could use something like the TowSmart Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 6,000 lbs # TS44FR if you've got a 2" hitch receiver on your vehicle.
I've linked a helpful article we did on how to measure for a rise/drop ball mount that you may want to refer to in the event that you haven't measured yet to determine the correct rise/drop for your application.
