Should I get Memory Mounts for Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop Cargo Box?

Looks like this box fit 2019 Subaru Outback Limited without any problems. Do I need the memory clamps for best fit?

The Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop Cargo Box # INBRA1210BK is a great box. This version of the Inno Shadow Box has a Quick Mount system which does a great job of securing the box to your roof rack. So as is, your Inno Shadow 16 will fit your crossbars with no issue.

However, when you compare them with the Memory Mount clamp, the knobs in the Quick Mount that you have to turn and tighten/loosen rely more on your ability to tighten them down every time.

If you want extra security and snugness, especially in the long term, I do recommend the Memory Mount Clamps # INBRP9. Its adjustable 'memory' clamping system really shines when you have to install and remove your box several times. I attached a video of the Memory Mounts in action on the Inno Shadow 15. He features it at the 5:30 minute mark.

All in all, the included Quick Mount is a great clamping system and will get the job done. If you want a tighter fit, find yourself always mounting/dismounting your cargo box, or prefer an easy lever system instead of knobs that you need
to tighten, then you should get the Memory Mounts Clamps # INBRP9.
