Does the EcoHitch 306-X7352 Need Drilling on 2016 Sprinter 2500

Question:
According to one of the reviews and your reply, a few 2016 Sprinter 2500 are missing some of the frame mounting holes could you provide any information that would allow me to pre-check if my frame has the correct holes? Thanks

Our friends from Torklift told me that (as of 2020) they recently changed the design to eliminate the need for drilling for ANY Sprinter 2500 models. If you have the older version of this hitch, however, the following advice might still help you out.
I checked the install guide of the EcoHitch Hidden Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7352 for you and sent it in a separate email. There are no specific models named as lacking the needed hole, but I attached some pictures of the guide and drew blue arrows pointing at where the hole needs to be.
This step is towards the end of the installation so checking if the hole is there or not would still require removing your bumper and crawling underneath your frame.
