can you please tell me what part number i need for a ranger boats trailer, it is on a tandem trailer with disc brakes

I don't know what the exact replacement you'd need for your Ranger trailer is but the Dexter DX7.7L part # DX89FR would work great for you either way so it would be the solution I would recommend. It has plenty of capacity, is a more reliable design than some options, is disc brake compatible and would install easy.
