Does Hopkins VueSMart Back Up Camera Require Cell Service or Wifi to Connect
Updated 08/10/2020 | Published 08/07/2020 >
Question:
Since this camera uses built in WiFi to communicate with your smart phone, would that mean it would not produce a live image if in an area with no cell service/coverage?

The Hopkins VueSMart back up camera # HM34FR will work fine regardless of cell service or wifi service. It emits it's own wifi signal that your phone connects to so as long as you are close to the camera it's going to work great. The wireless range of this is 492 feet.
