Question:
I measured the difference on my hitch and trailer coupler. It is a 3 1/8 inch . I have a new 2012 GMC Acadia with a factory mount trailer kit. I am pulling a small 5 X 8 utility trailer. I would like a multi dual hitch ball mount so I could haul my cargo carrier along with my utility trailer. Do you have one with a cushioned upgrade.

It sounds like you are looking for a multipurpose ball mount like part # D210, which offers a 2-1/4 inch drop. If you were needing a ballmount with a drop, the D210 would place your trailer coupler about 7/8 inches above level, which would be perfectly acceptable. The D210 is not cushioned, we do not offer a cushioned multipurpose ball mount.
