Question:
I am looking for a kit to flip or lift my 2800 lbs Dexter axles on a 1995 Coachmen Catalina. how do I find numbers to identify my axle. can you help me out thanks

Expert Reply:
You can identify the axle by the ID tag or sticker affixed to it.
If your existing axle is a torsion axle, given the capacity you provided it would be a Dexter # 10 Torflex axle. We do offer a lift kit that provides 2-5/8 inches of lift. For a single axle application, use part # K71-707-01 or for a tandem axle, use # K71-707-02. The kits aren't compatible with axles with the 3 inch tall mounting brackets.
If you have a leaf spring axle, with a 2-3/8 inch diameter axle tube, and the axle is currently mounted above the spring pack, you can use an over under kit, part # K71-384-00 to relocate the axle below the spring pack, where you'll gain roughly the diameter of the axle plus the thickness of the spring pack as a height increase.
