Question:
I wish to install disc brakes on my single axle boat trailer. 14 tires what non electric actuator and disc brake kit do you recommend. Complete package less than 3000 lbs. The reason is because I tandem tow behind a fifth wheel Trailer.

To give you your upgraded brake system, I recommend using the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 10" Rotor - 5 on 4-1/2 - Dacromet and KodaGuard - 3,500 lbs # K2R35DKG which will install right over your current hubs. I also recommend using the Kodiak Hydraulic Brake Line Kit - Single Axle - 18' # 18SI-BLKIT which will give you flexibility for your brake calipers and folding coupler connection. Then you can use the Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator w/ Electric Lockout - Disc - Multi-Fit Ball - Bolt On - 6,000 lbs # T4745720. This comes with the integrated reverse lockout so you can use a 5-way trailer connector like # HM47910 to give you that reverse signal so you can easily back your trailer without applying the brakes.
