I want to tow my pickup 4 down behind my motorhome. Is the blue ox wiring kit 4 diodes the right kit for a 2009 chevy Silverado? And this kit is to work off of my tail lights? Is this all I need to complete the job?

The Blue Ox 4 diode kit part # BX8848 that you referenced is a fit for your 2009 Chevy Silverado to use as tow bar wiring. We do have the kit part # RM-152-98146-7 also that comes with everything you need including a connectors for the front of the tow vehicle and a cable to connect accross the tow bar. This is the more complete solution that I would recommend over the Blue Ox.
