Question:
Hi I am looking for a 2x2 ball mount, preferably shock absorbing, with 0 rise that can support a boat and trailer at 7,500lbs. I saw the post asking for this but the recommendation was for a 6k lbs ball mount. Any advice? Thanks

I have two really good options for you that offer a zero rise. The Draw-Tite 2-Ball Mount for 2" Hitches part # 80796 has both a 2" and a 2 5/16" ball and is rated for up to 16.000 lbs. It does not have the cushioned feature you asked about but gets the job done.
For the shock absorption you want the Gen-Y Torsion 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers part # 325-GH-1024 this also has the 2 and 2 5/16" balls and is perfectly suited for your trailer and tongue weight assuming it is 10-15% of your trailers weight. This use a TorsionFlex System to eliminate the transfer of energy from the trailer to the truck and is really nice to have. Check out the video I made on them that I have linked for you.
Dont forget to keep it secure or locked. The InfiniteRule Lock Set for Gen-Y Ball Mounts part # 34061650-D is an excellent way to do that.
