Question:

1. With the dimentions that is needed to space them from the middle, is that to the inner hole or outside hole. 2. The steering box is in the way of the long bolt, opposite the steering box I am very close to the frame 3. On the plate itself does the short side go toward the imside or outside of the vehicle Any suggestions

For the Blue Ox Bolt-On Base Plate Bracket Kit - 5,000 lbs # BX88230, from the center of the bumper you will measure to the side 10-9/16 inches. That is just a calculate mark for measuring. Then from that mark you measure over toward the opposite side 21-1/8 inches which will be a drill location of the inner bolt of the bracket. Make sure the offset bracket is offset toward the middle of the vehicle and that will be the template for the second hole.

If this won't allow for your vehicle fit, then I recommend getting the custom fit brackets for your vehicle # BX1120 that will ensure the correct fit.
